Worked for a variety of academic institutions, NGOs, companies, and government agencies on peace and security issues, focusing mostly on promoting good practice in peace operations, and countering illicit small arms proliferation. Clients included Conflict Management Group (Cambridge, MA); Department for International Development (DfID) (London, England); King's College, University of London (London, England); Small Arms Survey (Geneva, Switzerland); Northrop Grumman Information Technology (Leavenworth, KS); Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (Oslo, Norway); and United States Institute of Peace (Washington, DC).
