As a trusted strategic advisor, Eric has dedicated close to 30 years working in the financial services industry, primarily serving as a chief financial advisor for affluent families and the CEOs, executive directors, and boards of nonprofit organizations. His unwavering commitment revolves around fostering enduring relationships with clients, delivering innovative and tailored investment strategies and long-term strategies across the spectrum of wealth management.Eric founded the Northeast Legacy Group with a vison of creating long-term sustainability for his clients, utilizing innovative investment, retirement, and wealth management strategies. He finds it very rewarding to have two and three generations of families as clients working with him on the use, investment, and stewardship of family assets.For his nonprofit clients, Eric follows a fiduciary standard and carries experience in endowment management, strategic planning, 403(b) retirement plans, cash management, and planned giving. Within this framework, Eric and his team work with their clients on building endowment funds through the creation of legacy societies and other planned giving strategies. Eric currently serves on the Board of Directors of the The New Hampshire & Vermont Council of Charitable Gift Planners, an organization that provides professional development and networking opportunities to nonprofit professionals and professional advisors across New Hampshire and Vermont. They promote successful charitable gift planning through educational workshops for charitable institutions and their development and gift planning officers, independent fundraising consultants, attorneys, accountants, and financial planners.Eric began his career at Merrill Lynch in Philadelphia, and later worked at Citigroup Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. He was recruited to Raymond James with his partner, Randy Whatley, to open the Hanover, New Hampshire office. This transition stemmed from the realization that Raymond James prioritizes its clients’ and advisors’ needs and offers quality wealth management resources in a preeminent corporate culture.Eric attended the Peddie School in New Jersey, and graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in history. While not working, Eric enjoys spending quality time with his three children, Margaret, Katie, and Henry. He enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking over wood fires and playing squash, tennis and golf in New Hampshire and Philadelphia. He also likes to restore old houses, and is currently searching for his next challenge.
