Armed Security Officer
CurrentConduct pre-investigative activities; perform investigative planning, technical report writing, dispute resolution, post-investigative activities and other ongoing duties. Conduct investigations subject to the application of local rules and regulations. Possess the ability to understand research, and apply state and federal administrative rules, statutes and legal precedents. Maintain the ability to understand and apply administrative and legal precedents impacting enforcement activities including the ability to work cooperatively in a governmental setting. Possess the understanding of compliance assessments, risk assessments and risk analysis for the department. Duties include the conducting of accurate and thorough assessments of the potential risks and vulnerabilities to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data/information held by the department to include; identifying and documenting threats/vulnerabilities, determining threat occurrence, impact and risk level, validate remediation's through follow-up compliance reviews. Possess at least five (3) years or more of progressive, technical experience conducting risk assessments, and compliance reviews. Possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of management, capable of articulating risk management solutions to the business, ability to work independently, strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, as well as time-management skills.
