Not realizing that later in life I would have been wishing I pursued a life as a professional golfer, I got into a career in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). No time spent on TV playing a game, but rewarding just the same.Over my 15 years working in local government in GIS, I ended up wearing many other hats. Either through my employer needing someone to manage a project or my desire to learn new things, I gained experience in many technology-related fields.This experience always revolved around one key idea - helping solve problems. One day it was creating a map for a project or finding an easier way to collect inspection data, and the next it was creating a website or a complicated workflow aimed at bettering a tedious internal process.Realizing there is a need for my skills, I embarked on the journey with my own company as a GIS Consultant, SharePoint Developer, and Website Designer to help solve problems for my clients.
