By making several visits to Zeiss SMT, I was able to draw up a list of technical and environment requirements that the Transport Car must meet in collaboration with the employees of Zeiss SMT. For example, the Transport Car must be able to transport sensitive mirrors on mirror carriers through various production halls. Movement of the mirror during transport is not allowed on the mirror carrier. And shocks during the transportation of the mirror should be taken away to prevent damage. These high-performance mirrors are built into the POB of ASML's EUV system and are intended to direct the EUV light from the source to the EUV reticle.✓ Activities:● A concept matrix has been created that results in a Transport Car with the best features;● To prevent the mirror from moving, a vacuum system is designed;● A damping system is designed to prevent the mirror from bouncing off the mirror carrier;● Several design presentations were given on the progress of the Transport Car.
