AWS Cloud Video and Audio Capture/Upload System (~6k lines of Python/S3/DynamoDB/ffmpeg): Complete architecture, design and implementation of an autonomous motion-triggered camera capture and continuous audio recording system. Captured videos, audio, CSV metadata and logs were uploaded to AWS (S3 buckets) continuously throughout the day. The system connects to a DynamoDB database nightly to check for and deploy updated software/configurations to each device. System deploys to Raspberry Pi/Jetson Nano devices with connected peripheral sensors.Surgical Software (C++/Qt/QML): Designed and implemented a large "Upcoming Cases" interface plus backend in C++ and QML/Javascript, using the QT MVC libraries (QAbstractListModel etc); Designed and implemented an application telemetry framework to record backend and frontend events with QML integration, using the QMetaObject system; Implemented a backend cloud service configuration manager and related unit tests; Implemented hovering help and error popups, tool switching icon buttons, and much more.Robotics Telemetry Upload/Vis. Application (~2k lines of Python/Azure/PySide): Complete architecture, design and implementation for this GUI data-upload and metrics/plotting application for captured robotics data. Has automated data plotting plus upload to a central Azure blob storage backend, and integrated blob storage search and dataset download capabilities.Various GUI applications/Other (Python/PySide): Designed/implemented a GUI application for product data validation; Team Jira data migration plus standalone GUI utility application.Various Software Features/Support/Improvements: Completed a wide variety of feature additions and support for the company's collection of PLM automation GUI applications, including: Added formula evaluation from ingested excel data in a CAD data management application; Fixed a threading issue causing UI feedback problems; Ported some of the company's Python 2 software to Python 3; And more.

Selected work from this position:METL Viewer Application (~10k lines of Python/PyQt/numpy): Designed and delivered a complete, turnkey software architecture and implementation for this graphical application; Allows the team to view and interact with all exported client data, and performs editing, searching/querying, filtering, prototyping and debugging, and other functions (proprietary METL binary format).
