Even when I didn't quite know what I wanted to do with my life, I have always known I wanted to help people, in one way or another. While in high school, I did this by mentoring our middle school's robotics club, teaching the kids about robotics and competitions, while setting up events and competitions for them. This eventually led to my current position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where I teach students in our first required Accounting course. This gives me the opportunity to act both as a teacher and a mentor to many of the students.Since I've kept up this goal for so much of my life, it's only natural that I continue to do so in my career. It is for this reason that I want to become a forensic accountant. A job that can allow me to help so many people that are taken advantage of, and truly do my part to make a difference.
