  Doc Gibb is the founder and lead medical provider at Our Town Medical. He started the practice in October 2014 after becoming frustrated with the bureaucracy of traditional medical offices and health insurance that prevented him from practicing medicine the old fashioned way.Doc Gibb received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology from Stanford University. He attended medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, and completed his family practice residency at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. He has been a family physician in Buena Vista for the past 17 years.Doc Gibb is active in the Buena Vista community: he is the current vice president of the Buena Vista Optimists Club, serves as the lead community member on BV Peaks, an organization dedicated to building new school facilities in Buena Vista, and is serving a four-year term as an elected Town Trustee.Doc Gibb met his wife, Diane, when they were both students at Stanford University over 30 years ago. They have two daughters: Taylor is a senior at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania, and Hayden is a junior at Buena Vista High School.
