Completed the successful NDA filing for Cosentyx (secukinumab) in psoriasis and represented Novartis during the Advisory Committee. Delivered parallel global submission dossiers for two additional Cosentyx indications in Ankylosing Spondylitis and Psoriatic Arthritis. Completed successful filings for Ilaris (canukinumab) for Gout and SJIA, and Certican (everolimus) for liver transplantation. Promoted from Global Program Head to Global Franchise Head in July 2010; promoted to VP, Global Franchise Head in May 2012; and promoted to VP, Global Head of Biostatistical Sciences and Pharmacometrics in May 2015. Promoted to SVP, Global Head of Analytics for Global Drug Development across all therapeutic areas including oncology and biosimilars in October 2016.

TA Head for Immunology and Infectious Diseases, supervising 8 statisticians. Completed the Tygacil filing for community acquired pneumonia and led a major product defense mortality meta-analysis based on 7,000 subjects for a labeling update. Supported the design and analysis of studies in diabetic foot infection, hospital acquired pneumonia, and pediatrics. Strategic statistical input into the design of Enbrel (etanercept) development programs such as radiographic progression in Japan and a pediatric plan for JIA subtypes based on an open-label historical control design.

Supervising 12 statisticians supporting immunology clinical development for Humira (adalimumab) and ABT-874 (briakinumab). Completed seven filings for indications in Crohn's disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis, RA (Japan), Psoriasis (Japan), 5-year X-ray, JIA, and RA (China). Led major product defense safety meta-analyses including an inter-company patient-level meta analysis of malignancy for over 22,000 subjects treated with TNF-inhibitors. Represented the company at Humira pre-IND meetings for Asthma and Ulcerative Colitis, and contributed to the design of the UC program. Supported the design and analysis of imaging studies for mucosal healing in Crohn's and spinal X-ray and MRI studies for AS.

Therapeutic Area Lead for the Cardiovascular & Metabolism TA, supporting Lipitor (atorvastatin), Caduet (amlodipine/atorvastatin), Exubera (inhaled insulin), and Glucotrol XL (glipizide GITS). Responsible for the Caduet NDA filing, as well as four Lipitor sNDA filings - ASCOT-LLA, CARDS, REVERSAL, and pediatrics. Also delivered the geriatric labeling update for Glucotrol XL. Conducted a meta-analysis of over 18,000 subjects from six CV endpoint trials to assess the effect of Lipitor on site-specific cancer incidence. Promoted from Manager to Associate Director in January 2002, and promoted from Associate Director to Director in December 2003.
