Director Of Safety
Current• Senior advisor to site leadership and partner with cross-functional groups, which report on multi-site progress towards physical security health and safety goals, emerging trends, and recommendations for future course correction• Subject matter expert on EHSS programs to include physical security, fall protection, electrical safety, hazardous energy control, machine guarding, elevated work platforms, risk assessments, hazard recognition, confined space, contractor safety and ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and DOT regulations • Oversees design, development, review, and implementation of safety, health, and security programs, policies, and standard operating procedures that fit within the existing corporate framework and eliminate or limit risk to employees• Conducts EHSS focused workplace inspections/facility audits across multiple sites to detect deficiencies and physical hazards, determine corrective or preventative measures and follow-ups to ensure corrective actions are implemented to preserve compliance• Coordinates the safety and security incident management program, administers work comp and auto liability claim activities, investigates EHSS incidents and accidents to determine root cause and develop preventative actions• Compiles, formulates, and analyzes loss data to highlight trends and prepares reports to educate operations on proactive security, safety, and health measures• Liaison between the company and government regulatory agencies to resolve regulatory issues and risk mitigation of future issues• Administers planning, developing, and delivery of safety training programs and courses, leads safety committees, and ensures timely tracking and reporting of status on-site training metrics • Spearheads strategic projects to ensure alignment of site with corporate initiatives including, site security assessments, hazard evaluations, hazard analysis, and job safety analysis to drive continuous process improvements to achieve EHSS Goals
