• Responsible for leading a team of 7 distribution coordinators, reviewing workloads & distributing accordingly to meet weekly and monthly objectives.
• Responsible for directs shipments from Montreal and Seattle WA to customers in over 65 countries and replenishment stock for 3 warehouses (Australia, Belgium and Mexico).
• Following up of customer orders, production, and product shortage issues with sales and sales offices or directly with customers on a per order and daily basis.
• Close coordination with transport companies and forwarders on transport, bookings and location of loads prior to arrival and obtaining pods, or OBL’s per shipment.
• Preparation of weekly shipping plans, pointing out specific issues related to shipment or non-shipment of orders and presenting them directly to upper management.
• Realizing a savings of a day in producing weekly shipping plans by automating some of the tasks required in calculations.
