I am responsible for 74 producing wells, as well as, a saltwater disposal transfer station, one compressor and numerous plunger lift systems. One of my major job duties is checking and replacing plungers in wells and troubleshooting possible production issues which include: motor-valve problems, communication or power issues and possible plunger damage. I also utilize SCADA to optimize or maintain production, as well as, using eVin/Merrick production accounting to enter oil haul tickets, water haul tickets and production comments. I also communicate with others by e-mail to keep the field running in a smooth and safe manner.

My duties consisted of troubleshooting, programming, calibrating and replacing instruments on production well-sites. In addition to working on well-site instruments, I also periodically performed meter calibrations to verify accuracy on ABB-Totalflow meters. I also had responsibilities to work on communications problems, which included programming Freewave serial and ethernet radios, repairing coaxial wiring and polyphasers and adjusting and replacing yagi and omni antennas. I helped maintain and program SCADA alarms and wellsite information in eLynx and ClearSCADA programs. I also performed preventive maintenance on pressure transmitters and other wired and wireless end devices out in the field. Some of the instruments that I worked on were Foxboro pressure transmitters, AST pressure water level transmitters and Ohmart Vega pressure water transmitter as well as replacing motherboards and XIMV’s on ABB-Totalflow meters.

I was responsible for approximately 35 producing wells, as well as, 3 pumping units, five compressors utilized for gas lifts and numerous plunger lift systems. I programmed and optimized plunger control boxes from Weatherford and Ferguson. I also, helped install, wire and program plunger systems for ABB-Totalflow meters and Freewave serial radios. Additional job duties included: monitoring chemical rates on wells, optimizing production and communicating with others by e-mail to keep the field running in a smooth and safe manner.

I maintained, organized and tracked all materials in the McAlester yard. Including: tubing, structural pipe, separators, water tanks and valves. I also helped load and unload parts and tubing with a backhoe and/or forklift. As production accountant, I generated morning production reports and corrected allocation errors in production recording systems. I also, created new well sites and equipment in Oracle and production systems for record keeping. Monthly, I entered purchaser statements to allocate production for lease holder payment. In addition to specialized training in the field with experienced lease operators and foremen, I trained to operate all routes in the field within the McAlester district. To increase knowledge, I had the opportunity to work with a drilling rig, workover rigs and FRAC crews where I learned basic well mechanics and about down hole tools and the importance of preventive maintenance.Also performed Material Clerk duties for McAlester district.
