• Maintain and develop intranet service-oriented web applications supporting manufacturing tracking and reporting for the customer using .NET 4, MVC, WCF, HTML5, Javascript and SQL Server databases. Handle full task of business requirements analysis.• Develop and support the Kepware and Wonderware Platform industrial automation product's setup, custom configuration, custom backend and interactive applications, and plant floor andon boards.

• Developed a telecommunication/power utility pole modeling and structural analysis application suite, including a web app, Windows app, and WCF service, for the customer using .NET 4 with a team of 3 developers. Handled full task of business requirements analysis including math/physics subject matter, as well as development of a Windows application working in both connected and disconnected mode on laptops for collecting pole data and uploading it, as well as WCF service and the math load calculation engine.• As a solo project, developed two web applications for a local county government agency—a customer portal for submitting transactions, as well as a billing processing application for posting transactions to the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains accounting system using .NET 4 and NHibernate frameworks.• Maintained other existing applications on a occasional basis for two additional different customers – one of which was a business news video publication site with a custom content management system and video delivery system, and the other of which was a hotel room device control application.

• Developed a vehicle service contract quoting, sales, and administration web application with a total team of 3 consultants for the customer, USFidelis. • Created various pieces of the application using the C# language and the latest frameworks such as VS2010 Beta 2, .NET 4, MVC 2 & AJAX, NHibernate 2.1, etc., and team development tools such as Trac project management, TeamCity, SubVersion, etc. • Created WCF and Workflow services for backend functions and also third party functions such as Google and StrikeIron address verification, Chrome VIN lookups, etc.

• Co-architect for the FLEX Schedule project for the customer, Anheuser-Busch, used by all 68 packaging plant lines and completely configurable for each of the various plant lines’ unique equipment and conveyor configurations and scheduling/reporting needs. Designed and coded a virtual real-time, n-tiered solution using C# .NET and VB .NET, Oracle 10 PL/SQL, object-oriented design patterns, adaptive methodologies, UML diagramming, MS Enterprise Library, and NUnit automated testing: A Windows service using C# .NET to track production orders at each stage of packaging—filling, labeling, packing, etc.—using .NET Remoting, and report statistics in virtual real time. A Windows service interface between the system and various PLCs/controls using OPC communications protocol and .NET remoting. Two different configurable graphical user interfaces reporting real-time activity using VB .NET: a Plant Floor Schedule (PFS) for operators and a Real-Time Schedule (RTS) for supervisors and planners, using remoting and serialized events to transfer real-time data to the display windows.• Member of the 5-member development team for Production Activity Reporting (PAR) software for the customer, Anheuser-Busch. Designed and coded various parts of PAR for the Windows platform: Stored procedures using Sybase 12 SQL, A data entry application using VB6, An XML engine DLL using VB6, All of the web reports for IIS using ASP, JavaScript, XML, XSL, ChartFX, HTML, and Converted the existing web report code from ASP to ASP.NET.

• Member of team for developing the insurance quote and policy rating and billing system. Performed business requirements analysis, created design specifications, coded, and tested various server-side MTS/DCOM business components using VB6 and Oracle 7 PL/SQL: A table-driven insurance underwriting and quote/policy rating engine An automated quote printing and mailing system using PL/SQL and MS Word automation. A credit report & motor vehicle report ordering system. Created a communication interface DLL library for IBM consultants to interface a quoting website with the rating engine.

• MS Access programming and data entry pertaining to insurance sales and investment services.

• Developed three applications with assembly language and C++: a multi-user weather radar indicator/controller program which operates the radar and displays precipitation on top of maps, like those seen on local television news. a remote terminal program which remotely operates the radar and downloads the stored radar pictures via telephone. a map editor which constructs and edits raster background maps and vector-based map overlays using CIA and USGS databases.
