In 2008, I joined Miner Enterprises, Inc. as Sales Engineer for the company's Midwest region. I have grown into the Regional Sales Manager position and sell high quality performance products into the rail industry. I manage a multi-state territory and accounts in Canada that include a car builder, Class l Railroads, major leasing companies, and very active railcar owners. Previous to Miner, I spent 10 years with Cardwell Westinghouse - A Wabtec Company. During the last year I was Product Line / Business Development Manager. In this position I was responsible for working with others to create Cardwell's Strategic Plan and then manage the projects per the plan. I also worked with Wabtec's customers and Sales Group to improve and create Customer Loyalty, New Product Development, Cost Reductions, Market Analysis, and Business Cases. In the 10yrs at Cardwell, I was also the Operations Manager (3yrs), Manufacturing Support Manager (3yrs), and Project Engineer (3yrs). I managed up to 108 employees during a record sales year of $110M with an expense budget of $12M. I hold two patents for design work on train brake systems. I Graduated from Purdue University with a MBA (2002), BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology (1998), AS in Organizational Leadership & Supervision (1997), and an AS in Industrial Engineering Technology (1996). I also attended Business to Business Marketing Strategy at Harvard Business School (2008). In my spare time, I enjoy snow skiing and tinkering with wood in the garage.
