Responsible for all aspects of project management and serves as technical lead for architecture recordation projects, historic research studies, and the creation of cultural resource management/historic preservation plans. Project Management duties include proposal preparation, project overview in terms of real time progress and budget, supervision of staff assigned to project support, coordinating project activities with state historic preservation offices (SHPOs), stakeholders, and other federal, state, and local agencies. Technical duties involve conducting architectural surveys and historical research for site interpretation, National Register determination of eligibility studies, National Register/ National Historic Landmark nominations, historic resource treatment/management plans, and HABS/HAER documentation.

Duties included general project overview, supervision of staff assigned to project support, coordinating project activities with state historic preservation offices (SHPOs) and other federal, state, and local agencies, conducting architectural surveys and historical research for buildings and structures, and preparation of National Register nominations and determination of eligibility reports, the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements (EISs) and Environmental Assessments (EAs) in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and historic resource treatment/management plans. Clients included U.S. Army and Navy, DelDOT, and the Virginia Army National Guard.

Worked individually and as part of a team providing cultural resource consulting in assisting various federal, state, and local government agencies and private firms to comply with Section 106 of the NHPA, NEPA, Section 4(f) of the NTA, and other regulatory legislation. Specific tasks included conducting architectural surveys, National Register determinations of eligibility studies, HABS/HAER documentation, historic context studies, and archival research for the interpretation of archaeological sites for various projects in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Delaware, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Responsibilities also included the preparation of technical reports and proposals. Clients included VDOT, WVDOT, DelDOT, PennDOT, NJDOT, the United States Army, and the North Carolina Army National Guard.
