“I wish I had known about this sooner” is a common thing we hear from our clients. In my previous roles I have worked with clients to help them achieve their goals but my newest position allows me to help people beyond anything I have been able to do in the past. I get excited to tell people about the work we do and how we can help their business.I work with a team of great people who are able to help small businesses (with 5 - 500 employees) get the money that is owed to them through the government program ERC (Employee Retention Credit). This is not a loan, this is a grant, which means you do not have to pay it back. This is a program that is part of the CARES Act and a lot of people do not know it exists and that they have a lot of money they could receive if they just apply. The average refund that businesses receive is around $150,000. This money has had a dramatic effect on many small businesses that have gone through this process.The application process is not that easy which is why most accountants will not bother with this. That is where we come in. We specialize in this process and have been responsible for getting billions of dollars in refunds for thousands of small businesses. Some people think that if they already received money from PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) that they can not qualify for ERC but that is not true. When it first started you could not do both but since March of 2021 they changed this and now you can get ERC even if you already received PPP.
