• Manage 30+ Union employees daily in the Fabrication department, supporting the production of multiple assembly lines and outside processes, while enforcing world-class safety, quality, and productivity practices.• Helped develop and launched a new Fabrication production system (FAB MES) and supported the roll-out across three facilities. I was involved in developing the system, creating training/troubleshooting guides, hands-on training of employees and supervisors, and the go-live launch of Wolf, BI, and Goodyear facilities.• Co-led a team of supervisors in an Inventory Management project centered around improving inventory accuracy by reducing the amount of transactions Material Handlers must make. Manage day-to-day operations in an ETO environment, while monitoring safety, quality, cost, delivery, and working on continuous improvement ideas/projects. I currently manage 70+ Associates in our Insert Assembly, Insert Subs, and Modification areas of the plant. I was the front-line supervisor of the Chassis Line, Paint Shop and Supporting Subs areas in a Union-based environment. I was responsible for safety, production, quality, time keeping, updating daily metrics, and team development.In my time there, I helped develop a Kanban system in an attempt to eliminate part shortages and lean processes. I was also part of the New Product Implemenation Team which saw the Chassis Line I was running add three new models to the line, including the PLS and M-ATV military vehicles.I would also work on a weekly basis with a Government Quality Inspector to make sure the quality of vehicle we were putting out was meeting expectations of the Government.
