I have been a structural engineer at Thornton Tomasetti for the past 10 years working on a variety of unique and challenging projects of all different sizes. Most of my experience has been in the sports industry including renovations of historic stadiums like Lambeau Field and the Superdome, additions to existing stadiums like the University of Missouri's South End Zone, or new construction like US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Working in both our Structural Engineering and Construction Engineering practices, I enjoy working with both the design and construction teams to solve complicated challenges in the most efficient way possible.Prior to starting my full-time career at TT, I studied Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis at Kansas State University. In the summer after graduating from high school, and every summer in college, I was an intern at TT. I rode a company bike around downtown KC delivering shop drawing markups and stamped drawings to the architects' offices. I also learned AutoCAD and Revit and started working as a drafter. My love of sports building design was ignited, and the rest is history!
