As a Rehabilitation Quality Manager I am responsible for reviewing assessments, individuals served goal plans, provide consultation to the Program Staff to support them in executing the interventions on the individuals goal plan, and ensure the quality of the documentation meets the standards for the Department of Mental Health Rehab Option reviews. I provide training to staff on the assessment tools used by the agency on a one-on-one basis in the field along with train during the agencies Rehab and Recovery Training Series, which is formal training for all new staff working in our Community Based Flexible Supports programs.

As a Rehabilitation Specialist I provided direct support to individuals within our programs to work on their Individualized Action Plans (IAP), write the IAP's for the individuals I directly worked with, completed assessments before writing the plans, completed service notes documenting the progress or lack of progress for the individuals progress toward the established goals and complete review's quarterly to show the quarters progress along with make any needed changes to the IAP plan. Another aspect of the position was supervision of other four Rehabilitation Specialists and their completions of documentation, support around the individuals they are directly working with as well as provide them with tips and strategies that could help them better engage with the individuals or support them to complete their paperwork.

As a Program Coordinator I was responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly residential program for 8 young adults with a vast variety of psychiatric disorders. I provided supervision for the 8 residential counselors through out the month, along with reviewing the progress notes completed around each individuals Rehab Plans on a monthly basis, consult with case managers at the Department of Mental Health (DMH), and attend case conferences around some individuals residing at the program. I was responsible for ensure that the program has all the proper inspections, certifications, and is ready for licensing inspections done by DMH. As a Program Coordinator I had to monitor the programs budget, conduct any interview processes, and facilitate regular staff meetings.
