As the Risk Management Officer, I was responsible for the safety and health aspects of 162 members of the Delta Tau Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Arizona State University. As the Founding Father, I created the Management Plan and the Chapter Event Planning strategies. Communicated with the Pi Kappa Alpha National headquarters and their legal team, for the overall protection of the chapter. Provided opportunities for continuing education regarding the growth and development of the Pi Kappa Alpha members. Promoted and supported the fraternity at all recruitment events.

Designed diagnostic leak detectors for the automobile industry using AutoCAD and Solidworks. Developed the testing plan (pressure and fail testing) for the product and incorporated it as part of the assembly line. Also became familiar with every step of the assembly process to identify production deficiencies and perform the analysis to develop the improvements to the production line.

Designed pipe plans and profiles using AutoCAD, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer. Acquired information to assist the Senior Engineer in processing and responding to RFIs. Performed utilities research, including contacting and coordinating with utility agencies, such as DigAlert, to determine size and location of their infrastructure and obtaining their recommendations to protect their assets during construction. Participated in clients’ brainstorming meetings to identify potential project problems.
