Eric worked with myself and a small team of senior engineers to evaluate various fairly radical architectural concepts. Eric constructed a model of a particular architecture and evaluated the performance of various algorithms on today's architectures as a baseline. He is a very quick learner over a wide variety of domains. He was very independent and accomplished tasks that initially had fairly ambiguous requirements without needing much further interaction. He delivered clear presentations summarizing the results of his investigations, and contributed to project meetings clearly and appropriately. I highly recommend him."
