Responsible for writing backend code for Zogo’s REST API and banking integrations extension in Javascript and Python which involved code reviews, technical writing, and testing. Work was done in sprints using agile methodology- Managed Zogo’s Python code base for banking integrations which included writing documentation for and managing git branch naming conventions, getting set up with Q2’s proprietary SDK, development and production deployments, and onboarding other engineers onto the code base.- Performed code reviews for new features added to the banking integrations code base and managed all merging, testing, and deployments- Communicated with external parties to identify engineering requirements for new features and translated those requirements into technical documents which were reviewed by senior staff.- Collaborated with frontend engineers to establish new API route schemas, created and edited tables and their schemas in MySQL using Sequelize, engaged in technical document and code reviews with senior staff, and updated relevant documentation as needed.
