With over a decade at Howard College, my journey from Research Analyst to Chief Information Technology Systems and Data Security Officer has been driven by a passion for higher education and community outreach. Our team's commitment to our students and staff has fostered a culture of innovation and engagement. In my current role, I have honed skills in strategic planning and program development, ensuring that our initiatives align with the college's mission and contribute to the broader educational community. As we continue to evolve, I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the table, always striving to empower both our students and faculty.I have developed many skills while managing the Information Technology department and through my other roles at Howard College. I am proficient with Microsoft products including, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI, Office 365, and more. I have also been involved in vigorous projects that involved integrations with third products with our Student Learning Management System and Learning Management System. Have helped administer Blackboard for more than 10 years. Extensive use of SSIS, SSRS, SSMS, Report Builder and other scripting languages to successfully complete integrations.Have been involved with assisting in institution research using data warehouse tools, Power BI, MS Excel and more.
