I am an analytical chemist with 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D from exploratory to full development. Attention to detail, problem solving, and excellent written communication and documentation skills are all essential aspects to my career, as is familiarity and adherence to all regulatory requirements.Highlights from my career include becoming a subject matter expert in chromatographic method development, validation, trouble-shooting, and transfer exercises. I have traveled multiple times overseas to both Italy and Ireland in support of transfer exercises from R&D to manufacturing sites.I have also worked extensively on continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes,improve sample turnaround times, and overall throughput. Our team performed data collection, analysis, charting, and follow up through iterative actions that ultimately lead to cutting turnaround times in half with a third less reporting errors over the course of a year. Solid analytical problem-solving, decision making, and prioritization skills were all necessary skills for the successful completion of this project. Overall, I really enjoy having a scientific role where I can utilize my experience while working with other colleagues toward a common goal.
