➤ Worked within a successful GGRE team responsible for the base business of ~29,000 boe/d, 1.2 million gross acres/ ~300 townships of land, covering subsurface Cretaceous (Notikewin, Falher, Wilrich Members and Ellerslie), Jurassic (Rock Creek), Mississippian and Devonian (Duvernay, Nisku, Leduc) stratigraphy.➤ Was responsible for the operational execution of the 2020/2021 Clearwater drilling program. This program consisted of 7 horizontal wells. The wells targeted the Spirit River (Notikewin and Falher) and the Cardium Formations. ➤ Integrated subsurface geoscience data with geophysics and engineering data to assemble the 2021/2022 drill line up. The main program consisted of a mix of Cardium wells and Spirit River (Notikewin and Falher) wells.➤ Analyzed Cardium core and applied new drilling and completions technology, realized the large potential for the Cardium in the Sand Creek area (T45,46 R9), >30 long reach horizontal locations. Proposed appraisal program for the 2021/2022 development plan which was previously uncharacterized.➤ Integrated reservoir characterization with well and completion designs to continuously improve horizontal well results and high-grade drillable inventory➤ Delivered a successful execution program targeting the development of the tight-oil sand reservoir of the Jurassic Rock Creek (Q1 2018)➤ Represented geoscience for the Deep Basin Business Unit on the Technical Core Committee, which was the highest internal technical authority within Cenovus

➤Senior technical advisor who provided subsurface technical assurance for all appraisal and exploration plays in Western Canada Deep Basin. Focused on the Spirit River (Notikewin, Falher, Wilrich Members), Cardium, Montney, Duvernay and Charlie Lake Formations.➤ Worked with all Deep Basin Teams to review and set subsurface work plans and helped design data acquisition plans to address key subsurface uncertainties. Provided candid feedback to assist managers regarding quality of subsurface work completed by staff. Understood staff skills and competencies, helped identify gaps and provided training recommendations at either a Business Unit or individual level.➤Member of the Global Exploration Review Team (ConocoPhillips Houston) – Participated as the only Canadian geoscience member. Responsible for reviewing all global exploration plays.

➤ Led multi-disciplined team (geologists (4), reservoir engineers (2), geophysicist, geochemist, and basin modeller to conduct regional subsurface evaluation of key Western Canada Deep Basin subsurface plays. These included the Wilrich, Falher, Cadotte, Glauconite, Montney and Duvernay Formations.➤ Play fairway mapping data was used by the asset teams and management to convey local work within a regional context. My direction and leadership improved communication with senior leadership in Houston. Worked with BD/Land on evaluating potential Montney and Wilrich acquisition/deal targets and open crown. Provided resource potential and subsurface risk assessment.➤ Strong leader of staff with diverse strengths and backgrounds. Guided and mentored a highly technical team that had to communicate and integrate their work with numerous asset areas.

➤ Led multi-disciplined subsurface team to successfully execute a complex exploration program targeting the unconventional Canol shale in a remote frontier basin. Program was completed safely, on time and on budget with all technical objectives met. Exploration program consisted of 2 vertical data acquisition wells 2012/2013 winter and 2 Canol Hz wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing operations 2013/2014 winter. A first in northern Canadian history.➤ Was responsible for the submission of a Significant Discovery Declaration to the National Energy Board and received a Significant Discovery License of the entire application area (307 sections) held in perpetuity.➤ Stakeholder Engagement – Worked with the stakeholder engagement team to conduct extensive consultation with both regulators and communities to gain approval for exploration program. Point of contact for the Central Mackenzie Valley media requests (CBC, Globe and Mail, Up Here Business, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, etc.).➤ Presented and sat on a panel at the Canadian Arctic Oil and Gas Symposium (2013 and 2014), presented at the Inuvik Petroleum Show (2014), presented at the Unconventional Reservoirs Symposium ConocoPhillips Houston (2014).

➤ Two key responsibilities: Team lead of regional onshore Mackenzie Delta exploration team and geologist for the Amauligak Field in the Beaufort Sea. Team Lead - Directed and helped a group of geoscientists tasked with exploring the Mackenzie Delta Onshore area for another anchor sized field. By providing mentorship, setting clear goals, breaking the work load up into manageable pieces and by supporting one another, the Team successfully reviewed and summarized the hydrocarbon potential of the area and presented these findings to senior Houston exploration management.➤ Amauligak Field – Provided the geology input to the initial geomodel, clearly communicated with management about geological risk and uncertainties and helped create the subsurface FEL-1 schedule for Amauligak. Geomodel was completed and peer reviewed by both senior Houston exploration staff and field partner Chevron. An increase of in-place resource of 33% (~476 mmbbl) over previous 2003 numbers. Thin bed effects and calibrated petrophysical model were the major factors for the increase in resource numbers.

➤ Responsible for the creation and execution of a significant portion of the Foothills Team’s drilling program. Areas worked: Greg Antler, Hinton, Solomon, Cabin Creek, Lynx, Narraway and Two Lakes.➤ Appraisal and development drilling of stacked Cretaceous tight gas sand reservoirs (Cardium, Dunvegan, Cadotte, Notikewin, Falher, Cadomin). Exploration drilling for deep sour gas program – Triassic, Mississippian and Permian.➤ Field Mapping (Summers of 2002 to 2009): Evaluating reservoir potential of Cretaceous, Triassic, Permian and Mississippian strata. Describing and mapping structural styles in both Alberta and British Columbia – Foothills and Rocky Mountains.

➤ Play Geologist responsible for a number of properties in northeast British Columbia and Alberta. ➤ Lapp property (94-H-10) Triassic Halfway exploration and development. Five wells in Q1 2001, New Pool Wildcat discovered, and designated the Halfway ‘D’ Pool, 2.5 mmbl OOIP. Six development wells in Q1 2002.➤ Sundown Field (93-P-7) Cadotte exploration. 2 exploration wells drilled in Q1 2002.➤ Talbot Lake Property, Twp 94-96, R 9-11. Bluesky exploration and development. Q1 2001 – 13 wells drilled. ➤ Valhalla, Twp 75-80, R 1-13. Doe Creek development. Q3 2001 – 12 wells drilled, mixture of producers and injectors.
