Quality Control Manager plans, coordinates and directs the National Mortgage Insurance (National MI) quality control audits covering loan origination, servicing/loss mitigation, and other designated functions; and manages a team of QC auditors. Supervise QC personnel and is responsible for the audit findings. The Manager must combine underwriting skills with written communication skills to ensure findings are accurate and described in a way that is appropriate for, and tailored to, the various entities audited (NMI underwriting management, NMI contract underwriting management, NMI delegated validation management, NMI non-delegated validation management, and underwriting management at lender customers (both for delegated full file audits and non-delegated closing package audits)).
