Investigate, qualify, and establish machine learning and AI processes for medical applications at Mentice. Develop tools and workflows enabling successful application of deep learning and AI to medical simulation, training, and visualization. Research and prototype new ML techniques and algorithms.

Research and develop technologies for endovascular surgery simulation. Replaced MSC's existing physics code with a finite-element system based on Cosserat theory leading to improved engineering team productivity and customer satisfaction.

Research, design, and develop physical simulation technologies for film and video games. Led development of the Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) physically-based destruction system as used in many feature films and in the video game "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed". In 2015 I received a Sci-Tech Academy Award for DMM's impact on the movie industry.

Taught a 3 hour class titled "Physical Simulation for Games and Animation".

Responsible for the design, development, and eventual commercialization of software applications in support of nanotechnology R&D. Set strategic goals for software development efforts. Designed and led development of software tools in support of a $25M NIST program.

Produced a series of flight simulator games (Hellcats over the Pacific, A10 Attack, Fighter Squadron).

Develop tools to support software development on Vitec's VLIW image processing computers.
