With 30+ years of engineering and management experience in the waste and energy sectors, I am a passionate leader in developing and implementing project solutions that benefit the environment and society. As the President of Bulk Handling Systems (BHS), I oversee the design, engineering, manufacturing, and installation of advanced waste and recycling facilities. I also serve as the CEO of Zero Waste Energy, LLC, a BHS subsidiary that I co-founded that offers innovative technologies for converting organic waste into renewable energy and compost. In my previous roles, I led the operations and growth of Athens Services and Burrtec Waste Industries, two of the largest waste and recycling companies in Southern California. I have an M.S. in Engineering and Management from Stanford University, where I also taught as a consulting associate professor, and the LEAD Ceritficate from the Stanford Grduate School of Business. My undergraduate studies included a B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of the Pacific. I hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and a General Engineering Contractor (Class A) license in California. Some of my core competencies include waste processing, alternative energy, engnieering, project management, strategic planning, business and project development, and company leadership. I am driven by the mission of creating a circular economy that minimizes waste, maximizes resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. I enjoy collaborating with diverse and talented teams, learning from different perspectives and experiences, and delivering innovative and impactful solutions.
