I consider myself to be a unique kind of trainer – one able to distill complex programs and concepts into easily understood products and processes, allowing a bridge to be built between organizations and end-user. I didn’t start out my career intending to work as a trainer but fell into it naturally, quickly recognizing the connection between increased knowledge and increased profits. Having spent over 20 years in the consumer electronics field, I have a proven track record of success identifying and addressing knowledge gaps using innovative training techniques that lead to increased profits, customer satisfaction, and higher customer retention. Over the years I have utilized this talent working with sales staff, leading trainings, and developing content. Throughout my time in training I’ve stayed on the forefront of changing market needs and evolved my approach to meet the moment. Even as I transitioned into product and program management, I continued to use my training background to support those around me. My innate ability to find and implement formal and informal educational opportunities has proven invaluable both to the companies I’ve worked with and the customers they serve. I have extensive experience with Learning Management Systems, specifically TalentLMS, Litmos, and Absorb. I believe project-based learning drives home theoretical and technical concepts, leading to better outcomes. I have a demonstrated track record of quickly learning new, complex systems and transferring that knowledge to others for their added benefit.
