Responsible for all ore control processes at Bald Mountain. Provide direction for blending and material mining and handling. Management of ore control geologists and pit mapping geologists.Track and publish monthly production data for Bald Mountain.Production database management and drill hole database management.Create weekly forecast models with Short Range Engineers.Create and publish Monthly Reconciliation reports for Bald Mountain and Corporate.Quarterly Royalty reports.Quarterly dilution-by-mining reports.Create production/ore control block models for new pits and maintenance. Continuous Project geology work. Underground Coal Mine Geologist: It is my role to provide the mine with geologic expertise in support of mine production and engineering. I am responsible for exploring and interpreting the geological environment for the mine. This includes executing all phases of exploration programs, model generation, map making and quality analysis. I work closely with production and engineering personnel keeping them informed on the geologic conditions observed and expected underground. Through a detailed underground mapping program I communicate observed and interpreted geotechnical effects on mining conditions caused by the geological environment. I manage multiple contractors and work on various geotechnical projects to support mine production including Plug & Abandonment of Oil and Gas wells. I am actively involved in O&G well settlements and maintain a close relationship with Federal and State agencies. I design and manage a multimillion-dollar annual budget. Being an underground mine geologist is an incredibly rewarding career. I love what I do!
