• Efficiently operated equipment for the chemical and fluids side of coiled tubing drill out procedures. Including but not limited to mixing sweeps, checking fluid properties, and managing pumping pressure.• Determined that the current technique for solid particle removal was inefficient by research into fluid properties and its interaction with larger solid particles at given fluid velocities.

Austin, Texas Area

• Provided Statoil with a comprehensive analysis of artificial lift systems in the Bakken using a sample size of 10-15 of each rod pump, ESP, and Gas lifted well to quantify net revenue based on estimated costs and income at different price points. • Analyzed well failures of a population of nearly 600 wells over a period of 6 months and developed a plan for going forward that would best result in lower costs, and more production. This plan was then presented in front of the whole Bakken team including upper management. • Successfully corrected a database of over 80,000 downtime instances over 6 months according to new and improved standards in order to better and more accurately assess gathered field data.• Worked with the production team to put together AFEs based on predicted costs and number of new wells that will be turned over to the production group. • Traveled to Williston, ND to gather data and study field work, examining the processes of 4 different workover rigs to best conceptualize how the work is actually completed. Used the information gathered in my study for a presentation over downtime reduction.

 Completed a research project over Cement tops in over 500 operated wells in the Permian basin. And developed a new procedure that could be implemented immediately at minimal cost in order to abide by TXRRC regulations. Shadowed full time drilling engineers during all facets of the operation, including: Surface, intermediate, and production casing and cementing, drilling, drilling progs and AFEs. Worked as a roustabout and lease operator with duties that included: route management, Cleaning pads, and general labor. Successfully completed POC class revolving around reading and interpreting dyno cards. Worked with engineers during horizontal drilling planning. And learned about the process of drilling and planning horizontal wells, and how it is developed from scratch.
