After 40 Years and 10 Days, I have decided to move on from StandardAero / Vector / ACRO Aerospace / ACRO Helipro, and the other fine previous company names. I now plan to enjoy a month off, prior to starting my new chapter. I retain 4 decades of Global experience in Helicopter M.R.O. (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) Sales, Service and Support in the Vector family. My experience covers Bell, Eurocopter and Sikorsky aircraft, including Powerplants, Dynamic Components, Airframe, Avionics, Electrical and Accessories. I started my aviation career on July 8, 1979, while under the Okanagan Helicopters name. Over the years, I held positions as a Technical Storesman, Stores Supervisor, Technical Sales Representative, Technical Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Director, International Sales & Marketing and Regional Sales Director. I also assisted in Operations in the Canadian Component Services years. In the mid eighties, Okanagan was purchased Canadian Helicopters, with the MRO Divisions launched as Canadian Gas Turbines, Canadian Component Services and Helicopter Welders of Canada. We then morphed into ACRO Aerospace Inc., and ACROHELIPRO Global Services. We became Vector Aerospace in 1998. Vector was then acquired by Eurocopter Holdings in mid 2011, and finally StandardAero through buy-out of Vector from Airbus in 2018.More specifically, my MRO Sales experience covers Rolls M250, Turbomeca Arriel 1 & 2 Series, P&WC PT6T, and GE CT58/T58, and CT7/T700 engines. Also, all Bell, Eurocopter(Airbus), and Sikorsky S61 & S76 Dynamic Components, and Electrical & Hydraulic Accessories. I also have extensive knowledge and experience in helicopter Airframes/Structures, Maintenance, and Avionics.I have been fortunate enough to have travelled the world to sell our services. During the process, I have met and enjoyed the company of so many wonderful people in the Helicopter industry.

Served on the Helicopter Association of Canada Board of Directors for a 2 year term. Participated in all scheduled meetings, and trade sessions. Helped to grow HAC Annual Tradeshow 100%, by introducing changes to the basic format of tradeshow, to allow involvement of multiple levels of industry. The addition of inviting Aircraft Maintenance Personnel, helped grow Exhibitor numbers immediately. I also started, coordinated, and run a bi-annual Golf Tournament for the Association.

Started my aviation career in the Stores/Material Control department at Okanagan Helicopters. Job responsibilities included, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and picking and stocking. Became Technical Storesman, and Stores Supervisor, supporting hangar operations for several years after our move to Viking Way. Received certifications for forklift operator, dangerous goods, and specialized airside access. I became very well versed in International shipping and logistics supporting our global fleets. From this Stores position, I moved to a Technical Sales position in the organization, in the newly formed Okanagan Engineering Support Division.
