Projected recovery value of the total Western Land Portfolio is estimated at +/-$1 Billion.Duties include:- authoring strategic disposition plans for assets such as the Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA (a 133 acre, mixed-use master planned community), Specific Plan III in Mountain House, CA (a 333 acre, residential master planned community), The Oaks Business Park in Livermore, CA (a 112 acre, light industrial/office park), Bickford Ranch in Placer County, CA (a 2,000 acre, residential master planned community), Old River Ranch in Bakersfield, CA (a 1,500 acre, residential master planned community), and Mar Serena in Guanacaste, Costa Rica (a 678 acre, resort master planned community);- maximization of asset recovery values through site plan re-design, and/or renegotiation of project entitlements (e.g. development agreements, cost share and reimbursement agreements, etc.);- negotiate settlement agreements, restructure existing joint ventures and/or loans;oversee the sale and disposition of an asset including marketing, purchase contract negotiations and closing; and- underwriting of assets held within the Lehman West Portfolio. Accomplishments include:- directly responsible for the disposition of +/- $215M in assets to date; and- exceeded asset recovery value expectations by +/- $40M to date.

Responsible for the acquisition of land for new home communities in the Los Angeles and Orange County markets for Southern California’s largest home builder (by unit deliveries from 2008 - 2012).Duties included:- financial underwriting and market research of all land acquisition transactions in Southern California;- development of pro forma financial models for joint venture scenarios;- management of feasibility investigation for potential new land acquisitions;- negotiation of land acquisition purchase and sales contracts;- preparation of investment committee reports for internal transaction approval; - management of three member land search team; and- participation in the development of one, two and three year corporate strategic plans.Accomplishments included:- underwriting the acquisition of +/- $200M (+/-2,000 lots) in residential land;- implementation of a land acquisition tracking program utilizing Geographic Information Systems;- development of a business plan, financial model and platform strategic plan for an SFD rental program; and- financial underwriting and participation in negotiations to acquire, lease and dispose of REO SFD portfolios (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Bank of America, etc).

Responsible for the design of residential and hospitality projects and master planned communities in the Middle East/North Africa (MENA) Region.Duties included:- management of design team schedules and budgets;- leading weekly design team meetings; - negotiation of contracts with U.S. based designers and consultants; and- traveling to the MENA Region to coordinate with in-country teams and monitor on-going construction.

Managed the entitlement and design of for-rent, multifamily communities on the West Coast.Duties included:- management of the project design and entitlement team;- management of project soft costs and government fees budgets;- financial underwriting of new land acquisition opportunities throughout the Western United States; and- preparation of private equity and lender investment presentations.Accomplishments included:- Successfully completed entitlements of a 244 unit, wrap apartment building in Warner Center, Woodland Hills.

Managed the entitlement and design of new home communities in Los Angeles and Orange County markets.Duties included:- management of project design and engineering, government fee, development and construction budgets;- management of the design team through construction documents;- negotiation of contracts with design and engineering team; and- interface with local municipalities related to entitlements and project permitting.Accomplishments included:- management of +/- $150M in construction budgets;- entitlement of 156 unit, podium condominium building in Irvine; - construction of a 191 unit, podium condominium building in Woodland Hills; and- construction of a 266 unit, podium condominium building in Anaheim.
