I would assist in surgery, prepare animal for surgery, clean surgical equipment and medical tools. Pack surgical packs, sterilize them. Assist with emergencies by placing IV's, drawing blood, digital x-rays and ultra-sounds, restraint of animals of all sizes and temperament. Took care of many of the building issues from broken dental carts, leaking pipes, anything that needed to be fixed I would troubleshoot and attempt to fix. Many save the practice a good amount of revenue. I also helped with boarded animals and helped train new employees. I was responsible for inventory and distributing/varifying medication and prescriptions from the pharmacy. I was one of the top selling employees and enjoyed working with the clients and their pets. I also painted and installed fences, repaired washers and dryers, caulked windows, fixed doors, shoveled snow, salted, renovated grooming room, fixed blowers, repaired caged and handled most of the aggressive animals.
