I kickstarted my Freelance Digital Design career during the pandemic when I was hired to create a visual identity, website and marketing materials for BODY ALIGN STUDIO, a new boutique fitness studio in Media, PA.I loved having the opportunity to be artistic, creative, and innovative and the owner of the studio couldn’t have been happier with my work.My degree in Communication: Digital Media Production gave me skills across a wide digital landscape including graphic design, photography, video editing, videography, and social media.However, because I’m a huge movie and TV buff, I’d decided to work on developing my video editing and videography skills first.While I was still in school, I was fortunate to get an assistant video editor internship at McCann Worldgroup, a global advertising agency, based in NYC, whose clients include MasterCard, Microsoft, and General Motors. After graduating I got a video editor internship with a small, start-up video production company in Wilmington, Delaware.Both were great experiences and exciting opportunities to learn in fast-paced, professional environments under tight deadlines. I love creative problem solving and am confident in my ability to complete any project from start to finish. I am also team-oriented and most engaged when working with other creative professionals. I am a strong writer and storyteller and can navigate other communication responsibilities outside of digital platforms with poise.I believe the skills outlined above are relevant and important in any field in the digital media landscape and I look forward to utilizing them as a digital designer or a video editor in a great company where I can learn and grow.When I’m not working, I’m an aspiring chef, computer nerd, and passionate gamer.
