...................I began my career in assisted living early in 1998 when I joined Emeritus as the Maintenance Director of one of their new communities. With now over 20 years in senior living, I've been fortunate to work with many skilled professionals, in a variety of situations. This has given me the ability to see issues and concerns in a community from multiple points of view.I hold firmly to the belief that regardless of locale and market, each and every community can be a top performer. If you create an environment where people want to live; if you take care of your residents and your staff; if you facilitate a fun, vibrant atmosphere, the rest will take care of itself.

Partnering up with Shamrock Holdings and CB2 Architects the goal was to open and grow a new predominantly Independent Living campus with a focus on lifestyle and wellness. Prairie City opened its doors in February, 2017. The Community is entirely licensed as an RCFE and the Independent and Assisted Living apartments fluidly adjust. Currently there are 71 units of IL (full kitchens w/in unit laundry), 40 Assisted Living units w/in unit laundry, and 19 Memory Care units.
