During my 5 years with Medican, I was Project Manager for projects whose total construction value was in excess of $100M. These projects were primarily multi-story continuing care facilities. I was also involved in the preliminary stages of other projects worth a further $30M.My responsibilities were direct involvement and implementation of nearly all aspects of the construction build. My pre-construction activities included design consultation (with particular interest in design efficiencies and cost saving), budgeting, scheduling, tendering, as well as contract negotiations and creation. My responsibilities during and post construction included creating and issuing cost/budget reports, schedule updates, project documentation, contract enforcement, dispute resolution, creative problem solving, and even hands on site work when required. I have also been the main contact and liaison for our clients throughout the projects.

During my time with Mid-West I was involved in finding new opportunities, meeting with clients, project design, estimating, tendering, and overseeing the construction build.Projects included commercial buildings and renovations such as oil field shops and small to mid-sized commercial complexes. Other projects included agricultural facilities such as grain bins, quonsets, riding arenas, barns, and various sized shops.
