There is a portion of my life where I literally spent over twenty five years at sea as a Contract Patrolman in the waters between Vancouver and Rivers Inlet BC. I had two fronts of challenge and stress. The first was to keep the boat afloat and also maintain it as my home. The second depended on the first, I had to make my living with the vessel, contracting to Fisheries and Oceans in the Broughton Archipelago.
