• Engineer of Record for the structural design and construction administration on a variety of over 350 projects ranging from $0.5M to $300M. • Extensive design experience in structural steel, cast-in-place reinforced concrete, precast/prestressed concrete, masonry, wood – including engineered wood products and heavy timber, as well as all combinations of these materials. • Types of projects designed include: single and multi-story commercial, industrial, institutional, medical, municipal, parking, religious and residential - including multi-story apartment structures.• Design experience also includes civil engineering structures such as water and wastewater treatment facilities along with infrastructure projects such as box culverts, manholes and lift stations (sanitary and storm water).• Foundation design experience includes shallow foundation systems, as well as deep foundation systems using drilled piers, auger cast piles, driven piles, micro piles and helical piers. • Experience in the seismic retrofitting of essential facilities, as well as FEMA 310 and FEMA 356 – “Seismic Evaluation and Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings"• Obtained considerable experience in working with the Army Corps of Engineers designing a variety of projects at government facilities such as Peterson, Schriever and Buckley Air Force Bases, the Ft. Carson Army Base, the Pensacola Naval Air Station and NORAD. • Over 15 years of managerial experience with positions ranging from structural department supervisor to department management of multi-discipline teams.• Former structural engineering business owner where I was involved in all aspects of the business side of structural engineering with experience in recruiting, interviewing and evaluating prospective employees.• I enjoy and have a large amount of experience mentoring junior engineers and drafters.
