Working with the PCB design software Altium to create design schematics and PCB layouts. This was used to generate PCB fabrication and assembly files that could be sent to fabrication and assembly houses to create the PCB.2. Worked as a support and lead hardware engineer on projects to manage the hardware of the design. This included designing prototypes from the ground up, writing test procedures to verify the design, working with the software team to load and verify software, troubleshooting issues found on the design and finding the root cause then finding an appropriate path forward, proceeding through revisions until creating a procution unit which was orderd in bulk.3. Worked on writing and supporting writing the hardware requirements for top level and sub level units of the project.4. Supported on-boarding new employees to the hardware engineering system, including version control, installing Altium, installing a VPN.5. Working with customers to provide status updates, inform on technical details of the design, ask questions and resolve problems to move the project forward.6. Utilize test equipment like function generators, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, source meters and environmental chambers when running test procedures.7. Utilize LT spice simulation software to assist with design development.8. Worked closely with mechanical engineers to ensure proper fit checks.9.
