I managed the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s international and domestic Internet, eCommerce and Telecommunications policy development and advocacy activities. In this position, I represented Canada’s largest technology firms (i.e. BCE, TELUS, Nortel,) in key domestic and international public policy consultations; assisted and advised the Government of Canada in the establishment of an Internet regulatory framework; advised international organizations (OECD, FTAA) on Canada’s eCommerce competitiveness; was a founding member of the FTAA Working Group on Electronic Commerce; wrote/presented public policy reports; and appeared in the media and before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade as an eComemrce and Internet expert.
