Served as the Project Manager and Functional Team Lead for a team of ten. The team provided development/maintenance of the DoD Standard Procurement System API utilizing XML and Web Services. Managed the requirements, design and test of translators/interfaces developed to replace over 90+ legacy batch interfaces between the DoD procurement system and 14 various financial, accounting and logistics legacy systems. Collaborated with the client's development contractor to develop an integrated process/schedule and to coordinate development and functional tasks and activities across teams.Supported the implementation and deployment of a web-based purchase requisition software and client-server procurement software at 27 Army sites worldwide achieving Initial Operating Capability at all sites. Facilitated business process re-engineering effort for each site’s acquisition processes to streamline inefficient practices between the contracting, financial, and logistics offices. Documented site Standard Operating Procedures and assisted clients implement business process changes. Provided end user support to a user base of 7,000+ at 350 Army sites troubleshooting and resolving Help Desk issues.
