Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, employing defensive driving techniques, maintaining professional courtesy while under stress, making public address announcements, properly answering questions and solving transit-related concerns of passengers, and exercising prudent judgment under a variety of constantly changing operating conditions.

Responsible for cleanliness of facility and furnishings under guidance from housekeeping management; Relays all pertinent information/issues/needs/ideas about cleaning to staff members as appropriate; Completes all daily housekeeping rounds as instructed by housekeeping management, including special assignments such as floors, windows, and “deep cleaning” as appropriate. Regularly vacuums, cleans glass, empties trash, sweeps, and dusts as needed; Attends required student employee staff development meetings/programs.

•Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.•Obtains help by sounding alarms.•Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.•Controls traffic by directing drivers.•Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.•Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.•Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.•Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
