Spent much of my life pouring concrete both for companies and myself. Took on winter work as I live in Michigan and unemployment was never my forte, so I picked up various jobs in winter months from detailing and paint work on vehicles to plumbing and managing shifts at factories as well as fast food establishments. I began to distance myself from concrete work, wanting to save wear on my body, and moved into law enforcement. However, when I received an offer to work at a cannabis growing facility, I moved into that industry, as I am happier when I am able to build something along with complex problem solving. I have also been an on call firefighter since November of 2017 where I also obtained my state instructor certificate. I also owned and operated a small parts manufacturing company for 6 years. However, the constant travel with young children became too much and I shut the company down. While not someone who partakes in consumption of cannabis, I do enjoy the process of growing it commercially, and other than firefighting, that is where my career is at present. I am very data and process driven, so it is my happy spot so to speak. At my current place of employment, I started as a trimmer, worked my way into the grow rooms, aided in creating a steering strategy, provided maintenance needs and grew from there into a management position.
