  Currently a Software Architect on an embedded application product team. I am responsible for leading up new feature implementation from beginning to end. This includes creating the feature architecture, refining costing estimates and creating a development and test plan. My primary role as the feature architect for the team requires me to create the overall architecture for a new feature and feed that information into multiple development teams of up to 12 engineers for implementation. As the feature owner for my product team I work with other product teams to align schedules and dependencies and create and execute integration plans.In addition to this I have been working as a Product Owner within our SAFe development environment. As part of this it is my responsibility to determine the scope of work that will be developed within the next program increment by a team of developers lead by me. I am responsible for understanding and defining the work to be completed, estimating the cost effort and leading the development and design work so that it is completed as defined by our definition of done and acceptance criteria. Prior to my current role I was a software developer leading agile development teams of up to 8 developers in the implementation of features within an embedded application product team. This development was done in both Rational Test Real Time UML and C++. As a development lead I was responsible for planning out iterations, leading design efforts, implementing code using agile practices and ensuring complete test coverage through unit and box test creation. Previous roles include software developer on a division test team creating system test tools. Majority of this work was done in either Visual C++ or Rational Test Real Time UML. I also helped to create a simulated link box test tool that is still heavily relied on for all of the box testing needs of my current product team.
