Responsible to the Missile Defense Agency for fielding and testing of the Aegis Ashore (AA) Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). • Manages the testing & integration of all program activities including the availability of the critical assets necessary to deploy and activate Aegis Ashore missile defense efforts at the contractor’s production test complex, the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) and deployed sites worldwide. • Develops and executes a $30M annual budget for the deployment and testing of $200M of Government Furnished Equipment• Simultaneously manages $75M in Aegis Ashore construction efforts at three separate locations. • Oversees the implantation of Aegis Ashore design, construction and configuration management efforts. • Leads the coordination efforts of multiple government agencies, contractors and field activities to accomplish program objectives • Briefs senior DoD leaders at all levels on program cost, schedule and performance milestones • Performs and reviews complex operations research study projects ensuring the facilities design models are accurately representative of program requirements • Plans the transportation of more than 200 shipping container of Aegis Ashore Combat System equipment valued in excess of $200M from eight separate locations in the United States to deployed locations worldwide
