Validating and continuously improving credit risk models. Acquiring, processing, and analyzing data. Preparing validation reports for individual models. Making proposals to improve model performance. During my internship at Startup Estonia, my main tasks included reviewing the profiles of startups in the database with the aim of identifying outdated or inaccurate information, reviewing profiles of new startups, searching for additional information and evaluating profiles based on the criteria for inclusion in the database and assisting in activities related to the database (including contributing to the completion of the mapping of DeepTech startup companies and the preparation of the statistical overview of the Estonian startup sector for the first half of 2022). I also helped in researching and working through existing materials (including other databases), with the aim of proposing recommendations and new solutions for the further development of the Estonian startup database.
