He spent the first half of his professional career as an international sales and marketing manager in the electromechanical industry, before transitioning to the medical device industry, where he has been immersed in engineering for the past 12 years. Motivated by a strong desire to enhance the quality of life of patients living with life-threatening diseases, Eric works relentlessly on devising minimally invasive technological solutions. These devices make it easier for patients to undergo treatment and for carers to better oversee patient health and well-being.Key to Eric’s transition to the medtech industry has been his passion in cardiology. He developed a keen interest in the field following an encounter, he had 15 years ago, with a leading specialist in cardiac arrest, who then later became his business partner. During this time, he became totally absorbed with the complexities of the cardiovascular system function and blood circulation issues. One of Eric’s first projects involved cardiac rehabilitation, where, in collaboration with two doctors, he used his mechanical and electronics skills to develop pulplink system. Since then, Eric has co-founded three companies, successfully piloted technical and business development entities, and raised €10M in financing. Eric holds 20 patents.As a dynamic leader with a strong technical background, Eric is not shy about sharing his passion for technology.
