I was hired as a supervisor for Legacy Grille and was there for about a year until I was offered the position in the purchasing warehouse and the rest is history...I like learning new aspects of the F&B business, I feel it helps to round out a person. I am very proficient with our internal ordering software (Eatec) in which our outlets submit their requisitions for us to deliver orders in a timely and efficient manner, also very proficient with our external ordering software (Workplace) which is used for our our vendors like Sysco, US Foods, Freshpoint, Bar Harbor etc. Daily processing and reconciliation of all F&B invoices, works closely with our accounting department to ensure that invoices and POs are matched and paid in a timely manner. Close relationship with our catering team to ensure product is available for banquets. Creation of products in Eatec as well as updating End of Month packages for the outlets in the resort.

Traveling to the various NASCAR tracks throughout the country that we operate at. Job duties include being in charge of runners at each track and supervising them while they perform task assigned by me. Set-up for parties that can range from 25 to 2000 people, ensuring that contracts are adhered to strictly and that the client has their food delivered at the specific time and adhere to make sure that food being delivered is at the proper temp and quality that the client expects.

I started at Universal in 1997 and started as a stocker in F&B. I then was a green card stock lead, then started out as a cook at Mel's Drive-In a few years later and learned every position there and was promoted to a lead. Then my last year or two I was transferred to La Bamba's and learned all the positions there until my departure in 2006.
