JX employs over 1000 people. Eric has worked in multiple roles in the organization, taking the helm of the second generation family business in January 2000 with the retirement of his father, founder and patriarch. Working through a complete business and culture restructuring in the first few years, JX has grown steadily through strategic acquisitions and start up’s diversifying in areas such as finance, graphics, and full-service lease and rental. JX has grown from four solely owned dealerships to the present count of 24 across the Midwest. JX is known for providing one-stop-shopping, including a full array of sales, financing, leasing, rental, integrated parts, and service solutions to the transportation industry. A passionate advocate, Jorgensen works hard to bring positive change and legislative advancements to the transportation industry on both local and national levels along with a strong commitment to the communities and families JX supports.As an outdoor enthusiast, avid skier and mountain biker Eric acquired Marquette Mountain Resort in Marquette, Michigan on February 12, 2020. His passion for the outdoors, growing businesses and bringing new opportunities to the Marquette community has brought him to this natural evolution. Eric's approach is based on 'The Marquette Experience’ – cultivating the uniquely diverse environment, Northern Michigan University, the City of Marquette, and Lake Superior with passionate outdoor enthusiasts. He believes this is fundamentally what makes Marquette Mountain so special.
